SpaceX Starship Completes First Uncrewed Mars Cargo Landing

SpaceX confirmed that two uncrewed Starship vehicles have successfully landed in Mars's Arcadia Planitia region, delivering a combined 200 tonnes of solar arrays, life-support modules, and in-situ resource utilisation equipment. It is the largest single-mission mass ever landed on another planet. NASA administrator Pam Melroy called the achievement a 'watershed moment' for interplanetary exploration and confirmed the first crewed mission remains on track for the 2028 launch window.
