Narendra Modi was sworn in at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday for a rare third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India. Unlike his previous mandates, the BJP fell short of an outright majority, forcing Modi to rely heavily on the TDP and JD(U) within the NDA coalition. Analysts expect a more consultative style of governance, with early tests on farm-law reform, uniform civil code proposals, and the federal budget in July.
