Despite Germany’s 7–1 victory over Curaçao, players from both teams came together to pray after the match. It was the first time such a moment had been witnessed at the FIFA World Cup. 🙏❤️
Felix Kalu Nmecha, who was at the center of it, said:
“In the game, we were opponents, but after the game, we are Christians and brothers. We prayed together because we are grateful. Although the result was good for us (Germany), we all believe that Jesus is glorified through the game.”
Felix Kalu Nmecha scored Germany’s first goal and won a penalty against Curaçao.
